Why am I seeing the message "The quantity you are trying to sell exceeds the amount you currently hold"?

This message can appear in a number of scenarios:

1. Selling More Stock Than Hold: You may encounter this message if you are attempting to sell more shares than you currently own. To resolve this, please adjust the quantity in your sell order to match the number of shares you hold.

2. Holdings in Auto Investing or DIY Portfolio: If you have shares through Auto Investing or a DIY Portfolio, you need to close the position in the Auto Investing area. Navigate to Assets > Auto Investing to close the position.

3. Pending Sell to Close Order: You might see this message if you have a sell to close order that is yet to execute. In this case, please wait for the existing order to complete before placing a new sell order. You can view open order through Orders > Open Orders
