Voice Quote

Voice Quote provides real-time market quotes through audible announcements. Market updates can be obtained by either setting alerts at specified time intervals, or by setting alerts to track price movements. The last price and the % Change are based on the closing price from the previous trading day.

1. Time Interval Announcement

Last price: If 10 s is selected, the announcement “TSLA $289.12” will play after 10 s.

% Change: If 10 s is selected, the announcement "TSLA rose 2.89%” will play after 10 s.

Last price and % Change: If 10 s is selected, the announcement "TSLA $289.12, up 2.89%” will play after 10 s.

2. Price Movement Announcement

A voice quote will be activated when % Change reaches or exceeds the specified value.

Rising Price

If the % Change is set to 1.00%, the voice quote will only be activated once the price rises "+1.00%" or higher. Then the announcement "TSLA has increased by 1.00%" or "TSLA has increased by 2.12%" will play. If the price continues to go up after the announcement, another one will not play unless it first drops below "+1.00%" and then hits "+1.00%" or more again.

Falling Price

If the % Change is set to 1.00%, the voice quote will only be activated once the price drops "-1.00%" or lower. Then the announcement "TSLA has decreased by -1.00%" or "TSLA has decreased by -2.12%" will play. If the price continues to fall after the announcement, another one will not play unless it first rises above "-1.00%" and falls back to "-1.00%" or lower.
