My account has a cash balance but I cannot withdraw?

Ensure the currency you are trying to withdraw is the same as the cash balance available.


Some common reasons may impact the available amount for withdrawal:

• Settlement Period: If you have sold your securities, there is a settlement period that needs to pass prior to withdrawing funds, depending on the market you have traded in


o US - T+1 (Equities & Options)

o Australia - T+2 (Equities)

o Hong Kong - T+2 (Equities)


• Currency Conversion: If you have sold US shares the cash settlement will be in USD, before withdrawing AUD you need to convert. This can be done via the app.


• AUD Cash Management: If you have activated AUD Cash Management, ensure you redeem the cash from AUD Cash Management before withdrawing. The redemption typically takes 1-2 business days.
