Why is my order not being filled?

When you place an order on Webull, your order is sent through our advanced smart order routing technology to the relevant exchanges, such as ASX or CBOE, in search of the best available price. While we strive to achieve the best outcome for your order, it's important to note that immediate order execution cannot always be guaranteed.

The primary factor influencing order execution is the principle of price-time priority, which governs the order book's queue. This principle ensures a fair and orderly market by prioritising orders based on the best price and the time they were placed.

If a limit order has not been filled despite the share price reaching the order limit price, it is likely because there are other orders ahead of yours in the queue. An order with the same limit price but placed earlier will have priority and needs to be filled before your order can be executed.
