What is the minimum amount of shares I can buy?

For listed Australian securities your first initial investment must be at least $500 worth of shares, which is referred to as a 'minimum marketable parcel’ (MMP).

However, once you have established a minimum marketable parcel for a particular security you can buy smaller amounts of shares for that security to top up your existing holdings, subject to Webull's rules.

For instance, if you already own $500 worth of XYZ shares, you may be able to purchase a smaller amount of XYZ to increase your current position.

Additionally, MMP only applies to CHESS-sponsored brokers, so if you have an account with another broker that does not have a $500 minimum order value limit, this is probably because they are operating on a custodial / single HIN model, i.e. you do not have your own HIN.

ETF's and warrants are not subject to the minimum marketable parcel (MMP) rule with Webull.
