What is a Market Order?

A market order is an order that is executed at the current market price.

Market orders are mainly used for immediate transactions, but the transaction price is not guaranteed. The executed price may deviate greatly from the price when the order was placed. Therefore, investors need to place market orders cautiously.

Buying Power for market orders is calculated as best bid/ask * (1+2%), meaning we have 2% buffer if execution price has gone higher than order price during regular trading hours.
